Vertical Growth Farm, Newburgh

At the start of the project Vertegrow has chosen IGS’ four tower system for a new indoor farm to be built at its existing Waterside Farm facility in Ellon, Aberdeenshire,  A 245 m² insulated superstructure was to accommodate four 9 m high towers alongside a 1 600 m² service area. Together, they were to provide approximately 1 343 m² of growing space, producing up to 70 tonnes of produce per annum when fully operational.

 

Following a successful Planning Application for the initial facility, Vertegrow decided to change the site position and reduce the project to one 9m high tower and smaller service area. This has now been successfully developed on site and the production has started.
